Flossing: We all know we should do it more often. Dentists recommend doing it every day. Unfortunately, floss is mostly made of nylon and comes in a disposable plastic packaging. So, basically, it is plastic wrapped in plastic. Being small and lightweight, floss thread is part of the plastic products that most easily enter the environment.
Natural alternatives to synthetic
Luckily some alternatives to plastic floss exist. The two main options are, bio-based plastic and silk floss. The former biodegrades in an industrial compost the latter biodegrades in your backyard compost.
A reusable floss dispenser
To be really eco-friendly dental floss, the container should be reusable as well. A reusable floss dispenser can be refilled with floss coils. Reusable floss dispensers are usually made of glass or stainless steel.
The Bambaw Bioplastic Floss
The package includes two vegan dental floss coils based on corn. You can reuse the dispenser for a long time and simply refill with a new eco-friendly dental floss whenever needed.
Corn Based Floss Coils
This vegan dental floss is compostable in an industrial compost. It is made from a corn-based plastic (PLA). The bioplastic is as strong as traditional plastic, but it is made from renewable resources.
The 50 meters long, eco-friendly dental floss refills made of corn starch is coated with candelilla wax and it has a refreshing peppermint touch. 50 meters of floss is enough for 200 flosses.

My name is Mrs Peng, and I am the workshop director at Yulan. I have been working for the company for six years now. I am 41 years old and have twin boys whom I love very much. They make me proud to be their mother, and I am working hard so they can make it to the university of their dreams.
With a good 40-hour week, I get time to work and raise money for my boys while also doing the best I can to live happily. My dream is to travel abroad and see new places eventually.

The bonus of working in Shandong province is that it is a seaside city, which means there is a lot of seafood. I mention it because I am a big fan of seafood and cook it as often as possible.
